Overall
Underdogs on the road after the Denver debacle, the Texans rebounded against the red-hot Titans with a terrific performance. Grade: A
Quarterbacks
Deshaun Watson threw two touchdown passes and overcame two end zone interceptions to engineer 75- and 80-yard scoring drives to secure the victory. Grade: B
Running backs
Carlos Hyde ran for 104 yards to give him 1,034, the first 1,000-yard season of his career. They finished with 140 yards rushing. Grade: B-plus
Receivers/tight ends
DeAndre Hopkins had six catches for 119 yards. Kenny Stills had touchdown catches of 12 and 16 yards. Will Fuller caught five passes for 61 yards. Grade: A
Offensive line
The linemen had a splendid performance. They helped the running game produce 140 yards. Deshaun Watson was sacked one time. Grade: B-plus
Defensive line
The linemen helped limit Derrick Henry to 86 yards on 21 carries. Rookie Charles Omenihu had a sack on the Titans’ last drive. Grade: B-plus
Linebackers
Whitney Mercilus’ 86-yard interception return set up the first touchdown. Zach Cunningham had a game-high 14 tackles and shared a sack with Benardrick McKinney. Grade: A-minus
Defensive backs
They did an excellent job against every wideout other than rookie A.J. Brown (eight catches, 114 yards). The other receivers had six catches for 87 yards. Grade: B
Special teams
Lonnie Johnson Jr. broke up a long pass on a fake punt. Bryan Anger had a 46.3-yard gross, a 41.5 net and put three inside the 20. Grade: B
Coaching
Bill O’Brien and his assistant deserve a lot of credit for getting their players to bounce back from the Denver loss to win this game. Grade: A
