The miles stacker

As we mentioned, the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card makes earning miles simple. Those who don’t want to jump through hoops to figure out the best way to earn miles will love this card. Here’s the breakdown: You can earn 2 miles per $1 spent on … everything. That’s right; there’s no fine print here.

No specific categories, no spending limits and no secret codes to decipher. Simply use the card to purchase anything and watch the miles add up. Not only is it easy to earn miles, but there’s no catch to worry about once you start racking them up, because the miles don’t expire.

The international traveler

If you travel abroad often, the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card will be helpful since it has no foreign transaction fees. Think about all the times you use your credit card while traveling, and it’s easy to see why a zero-foreign-transaction-fee card is essential.

In addition, the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card provides you with a $100 credit to cover a Global Entry application fee (or $85 toward TSA Precheck). This credit is issued once every four years. All you have to do is use the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card to pay the fee, and your credit will appear within two billing cycles.

The travel redeemer

The Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card is great if you like to use your miles to pay for travel. Capital One describes this category as including not only airfare, but railroad trips, car rentals, limousine rentals, buses, cruises, taxis, travel agents and timeshares. You can redeem your miles at 1 cent per mile in two ways: Use miles to pay for travel booked through Capital One, or use Capital One’s Purchase Eraser tool to receive statement credits for travel booked through other sites.
